With the Streamyx Registration Wii in full swing, in more ways than one, our malaysian watch us in terror waiting for a proverbial smack in the mouth as we get carried away Wii-ing. Everyone seems to be on their Nintendo Wii these days which, in this instance is a good thing because they're not sat on their butts, they're actually working out and getting fit at the same time.
Grandpa stands there waiting for the tennis serve to come belting down the court as Grandma serves that belting ace straight at him. The rally is on and the crowd watch in anticipation for the winner of the game and set. All this of course, is in the comfort of their own home whilst the crowd is in fact the family on lookers shouting for both players so as not to offend any competitive blood!
All this is great fun and continues to be so - but, if you're Grandpa or Grandma or anyone else - family, friend or streamyx announcement - then get that remote streamyx lowyat on your wrist now! There are lots of stories coming through of people in their excitement, letting go of their remote and smashing it into their tv! This equals in some cases a damaged tv screen. It does happen.
People, please be netgear streamyx that your insurance for such accidents might not cover you for this particular accident. Why? Because some insurance does not cover you specifically for a Wii causing damage to a tv screen. How much would that aztech wireless g adsl router if it were a 52" Plasma? Some insurers are in fact asking customers to check their insurance for the correct cover. Get it please. You can Wii all you want then.
I write this with the sole intention of making folk aware of the potentially large cost this could cause. In all fairness to Nintendo they do warn us to be sensible when using the Wii. So go on, get the Wii on and have a great time 'cos the Wii is superb, gives us lots of fun and in lots of cases, makes us fitter than we were.
